So to usher in the month of October and the fall season, we spent some time this weekend at a local pumpkin patch! Seth and I took the Brookie and Josie to Poppy's and boy did we have a great day. The girls were SO excited. Josie was most excited about the kiddie train and Brooke was most excited about the animals! :) She had grand thoughts of doing the zipline until she saw just how big it was. Maybe another time... Here are some of my favorite pictures from our day!
The girls and the giant pumpkin!
Posing by the entrance
Look at that smile! She was the first one in and the last one off the train!
Brookie enjoyed the train ride too
Uncle Seth and Cousin Josie in the treehouse
Hanging in the treehouse with my girl looking at the colorful leaves
Two of my favorite girls!
Aren't they just gorgeous?!
And look at my little beauty pose! :)
Feeding the ponies
The llama got a little jealous of the ponies and had to get in on the feeding action
My girl and I
The blue-eyed beauty
Hanging in the tunnel in the hay bale maze
Playing in the goat playground...yes, that's a goat in there! While Brookie was trying to help Josie pet the goats, Josie was more interested in telling the goats and any other kids and adults within earshot that Brookie was her cousin. Super sweet! :)
And we had to have another pony ride! A highlight for both girls for sure!
My little cowgirl! She's practically a pro!
Sweet cousins
Brooke thought that this was such a fun place to take a picture
And Josie had to get in on the action too!
Josie wasn't interested in getting measured, but she was going to try to help Brookie mark her height! :)
Isn't she just absolutely lovely!?!?! I love this little girl SO very much!!
And we ended our day with a hayrack ride before choosing our pumpkins!
What an absolutely glorious fall day!! Thanks Seth and Josie for some great memories!
